David Parsons

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, David brings over 10 years of experience developing innovative digital solutions for leading wireless, cable, and Internet providers.

Prior to VideoLantern David directed the programming team for RCN Telecom Services, a leading cable, high-speed Internet and phone service provider in the most densely populated US markets. He expanded RCN’s emerging digital services (e.g. digital carriage, video on demand and HD) and introduced differentiated program packaging options.

Previous to RCN, David was with Nextel Communications (now Sprint Nextel) where he launched Nextel’s first digital handsets and created innovative b-to-b partnerships with leading digital companies to facilitate adoption of wireless navigation, productivity, commerce and entertainment services.

David began his career in the not-for-profit space at Special Olympics International where he managed sponsor relations and helped coordinate the 25th anniversary celebration held at Disney’s Epcot Center.

David received an MBA and an MALS degree from Georgetown University. He received a BA degree from Boston College.
